Reel-fed Plastic Film and Foil

The Revolution is a fully electric automatic tray sealer using motion control technology to provide accurate high speed output with quick tool changes. Incorporating POWERDRIVE technology, there is no requirement for a compressed air supply. It can be used to seal reel fed film to pre-formed trays and can be configured to use MAP-F gas flushing, full MAP-V vacuum and SkinPAC for extended shelf life.

Dependent on the tray size it can seal up to six packs at a time giving a maximum output of 150 packs per minute.

  • This technology represents the latest advancement in robotics.
  • It is the first of its kind in the world for this specific application.
  • Traditionally, pack movement required slowing down or stopping to accurately position the packs.
  • At high speeds, this method compromised positioning accuracy and overall reliability.
  • The new system, called Syncromotion, eliminates the need to stop the packs.
  • Instead of decelerating, the packs are accelerated during the process.
  • This may seem counterintuitive, but it allows full control of the pack throughout the movement.

  • Currently, packs must wait while transfer arms collect stepped packs and begin moving them to the sealing position.

  • Most tray/top web sealers that offer flexibility still operate intermittently, causing upstream delays.
