The iCaps “C” Containment unit includes features to ensure safety when manufacturing potent drugs, such as a contained test sample inserter to avoid contact with the product, continuous pressure monitoring to maintain negative pressure, and fail-safe pinch valves for added security. The system also offers simple and contained disconnection of peripheral equipment using Flex Connect pipes with a double LDPE barrier. A unique antistatic patented metal check ensures tightness while discharging static electricity from capsules. Additionally, the system is modularly upgradable to a “HC” High Containment washable solution for enhanced flexibility.

The eCaps features a new generation of modular 400mm segments, each with a patented rotational brush that elevates, dedusts, and polishes capsules of any size or shape, from 000 to 5. The modular design allows for easy interchangeability between polishing segments and provides three different conveying heights for flexibility.

The patented technology ensures high polishing performance with a homogeneous vacuum flow on one side and a unique aspiration window design on the other to guarantee complete emptying of any capsule type. The system is designed for ease of use, minimizing parts to simplify assembly and disassembly, and eliminating the need for tooling.

Equipped with a metal detector, the eCaps ensures optimal accuracy, detecting particles as small as 0.4 mm, with a high-speed rejection mechanism for non-compliant products. Three detector options are available: Ceia, Lock, and Safeline. The design saves space in the production room and reduces retention areas. The Empty Capsule Eliminator (ECE) feature ensures 100% production efficiency, eliminating any empty capsules.
